MAC - Te Arahou Professional Support

As an approved lead facilitator for the Te Arahou o Aotearoa Trust, 

I can offer support in the delivery of The MAC kaupapa and provide guidance in aligning this with the curriculum, graduate profile and learning of all stakeholders in your school. 

The MAC kaupapa and the many tools associated are located on the Te Arahou o Aotearoa Trust Website.

There are packages of support which schools can purchase with the MAC kaupapa currently unable to be delivered as an MOE funded kaupapa from the start of 2026.

These are some possible areas of support, though facilitators will tailor support to what principles and schools want in terms of professional and practical support.

  • Te Tiriti workshop  -  staff and Board.

  • Board support with Hautū and enacting Te Tiriti principles.

  • Support to deliver Unteach Racism modules with staff.

  • Culturally affirming leadership PL for SLT and middle leaders.

  • Review and guidance for strategic planning and annual plans.

  • Targeted professional learning for staff as required  - Te Reo Māori, 

ANZ Histories curriculum, planning to integrate Te Ao Māori in classes...

  • Support to develop or review Te Reo Māori curriculum and progressions.

  • Review and guidance around school values.

  • Development of learner profiles. 

  • Support with whanau and community hui. 

  • Liaison with mana whenua.

  • Engagement in cluster, regional and national hui.
